Came across another town with an old theater. This one was build in 1928. Looking forward to my next trip so I can get a look inside. Newark, Ohio is one of those old towns that will take you back in time.

Day 3 - Anytime Anywhere

We are apt to meet some amazing souls like this gentleman here if we are only will to reach out. A friendly smile, and heartfelt 'hello', or a genuinely asked 'How are you doing?" can introduce you to so many wonderful people in this world of ours.

Day 2 - Don't Get Discouraged

Heavy thunderstorms moving into the area early this morning wasn't going to discourage me. Good time to try to get some lightning shots. Ended up, the storm was moving north and east of where I was at so I decided to try to get a few other shots in before the rain would start.
Rain will not keep me from shooting. I'll shoot from my car, under an umbrella, under building overhangs, or cover up the gear with plastic.....usually will find something that catches my eye.
Today, between the rain showers, I found a few birds laying low......so, good for me I didn't get too wet...just a little while laying on the ground to take get this Tricolor Heron.
So, don't let rainy days discourage you. Get out and find that shot!!

Fresh Starts - 2017

Happy New Year!!!
2017 will be as good as we decide to make it out to be, but we'll only be able to measure it if we take action. So for me, getting this blog going is Step 1. I hope to accomplish a few things:
- As a minimum, post something each day from a shot I took that day
- Share with others, and if I can, help others interested in photography
- Get feedback from other photographers to help me improve
- Provide some inspirational / motivational thoughts
Let's have fun.... let's get some things done.... 2017 is upon us...... change is within us..... let's step out and make it happen!!!
